Acts 15 The first Council in Jerusalem

What does someone have to do to receive the gift of salvation from God? This is a question that is the core of Jesus' teachings. Does someone have to be baptized, accomplish tasks, speak in tongues, or read only the King James Bible?

This question is not new and was the center of debate for the first church in the book of Acts. The issue for the council of Jerusalem was circumcision, but it was no less serious than all the things people attempt to add to the truth that salvation is by grace through faith alone.
