Following Jesus is not for sissys

David has been chosen by God and anointed the future King of Israel. Therefore, the pathway to Kingship should be easy, right?

God uses adversity to mature us and make us strong. David's journey to King is fraught with danger and trials.

Often, we think that because we follow Jesus ' life, it should be easy for us. Jesus promises that life will get harder when we follow him.
